I'm having the same problem as Jeff above. Nothing happens when I schedule backups, but I can do a backup immediately and send it to my email.

Otherwise thanks for a great plugin!

I'm having this same problem that when I go to Tools and select "email backup" the plugin will not save the settings. If I select "backup now" it will email the backup. But it won't save the setting for the scheduled backup.

In other words, will scheduled backup only work with "download to computer" and not work with "email backup"?

No message at the top of the page. I made the writable fixes when I first installed the plugin.

Do you see a message at the top of the page that says something about needing to make your backup directory writable?

I stopped receiving backups at the end of October, which may correspond to the release of a WP upgrade. What I have noticed is that I can email myself a backup with the Backup Now! button, but when I select "Email backup to:" and then leave the page, the settings revert to "Download to your computer."

I also find it odd that there is no "save settings" button.
